The ultimate great outdoor of 6 Days Grand Expeditions of the islands around Phang Nga Bay
Day 1: This first day is fully guided in self-designed inflatable kayaks. You will be paddled by your guide
through complex tidal sea caves into lagoons called "Hong's (Thai for "room or chamber"). This allows you to
relax and enjoy Phang Nga Bay ambiance. You will be picked up from your hotel in Phuket at 8am and transfer
to a motor boat for your island hopping adventure. First Island: Explore caves and lagoon, Second Island:
Traverse 300m cave in a giant lagoon, explore tidal sea caves in the area.Arrive at camp site at 4pm; training
will be provided on the single seat hard shell Sit-On-Top kayaks and enjoy Thai seafood dinner on a boat. (L,

Day 2: On day 2 to 6, you will paddle your own single seat hard shell Sit-On-Top kayak.
Depart for North Koh Yao Noi on escort boat at 7am. Breakfast will be served on board. At 9.30am, begin
paddle north to Koh Yao Noi and Big Tree Bay then hike to the giant Ficus. Lunch will be served on board
following lunch, paddle 1 km crossing to Lagoon Island. Circumnavigate Lagoon Island. This island is home to
many crab eating monkeys and giant fruit bats. At 4.30pm board an escort boat and depart for the camping
site on Koh Nok. Dinner on board .Return to camping beach and relax. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Break camp at 7am and breakfast will be served on board. Paddle around Koh Chong Lat at 9am. This
1,500 foot island has stunning cliffs, the "Blue Room", a three chamber stalactite grotto, and an unusually
beautiful channel on the way back to camp. We often see porpoise outside the Blue Room, along with
monkeys, water monitors, White Bellied Sea Eagles and Bramany kites. Take a lunch break at 12.30pm
following a motor boat ride to Koh Klui. Circumnavigate Koh Klui. This is another beautiful red limestone
island with an irregular coastline. At 3.30pm board an escorted boat and depart for Laem Taeng. Arrive Laem
Taeng and make camp. Thai seafood dinner will be served at 7pm and feel free to go for a sunset paddle
after meal. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Sunrise paddle at 6.30am. Breakfast will be served on board. At 9am, depart for Hong Yai – a 2km deep,
with an exceptionally beautiful sea arch, stalactite encrusted overhang and Hong, our only lagoon inside a
lagoon. Hong Yai, essentially a tidal canyon with heavily wooded 1,000 foot cliffs, is filled with a tidal
mangrove swamp. We always see kingfishers, and often see both Gibbons and Langurs. Sea otters are
occasionally sighted. Lunch will be served on the escort boat at noon. AT 1.30pm paddle back down Laem
Taeng to Mangrove Maze. Paddle along a 5K cliff where we frequently see Gibbons. Extremely picturesque.
Explore the Mangrove Maze, a giant crater of disintegrating limestone islands filled with mangrove. Paddling
down the channels brings a surprise around every bend. At 2.30pm, board an escorted boat and depart for Koh
Pak Bia to make camp for the night. Dinner will be served on board. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Sunrise paddle at 6.30am. Breakfast will be served on board. At 9am circumnavigate Koh Pak Bia and
neighboring islands. Lunch will be served on the way to Koh Bele. Upon arrival at 1pm, paddle into the giant
lagoon and circumnavigate Koh Bele', with three white sand beaches, snorkeling on coral reefs (Bring your
own snorkel gear). Here are some excellent limestone geology, Koh Bele' (Koh Hong ) is considered the Jewel
of the Bay. At 5pm, make camp at Koh Bele' (Koh Hong). Dinner will be served on board. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Break camp at 7.30am, board an escorted boat rendezvous and transfer to Talin. Upon arrival at 9.30
am, paddle into False gorge and Krabi Klong, a stunning 2km gorge, circling back into a mangrove channel at
the base of the island to Gibbon Hong. Lunch will be served on the boat at 12.30pm. This afternoon, relax,
swim and enjoy the beautiful surrounding until your departure back to Ao Por Pier of Phuket. Upon arrival, you
will be transferred to your hotel. Estimated arrival time is 5.30pm. (B,L)
