Tour Code: 2NKSJS        Jungle Safari Adventure to Khao Sok                                                          (3 Days/2 Nights)

A three day adventure taking you through villages, elephant safari, rain forest, local tropical fruit orchard, nature viewing and
outdoor activities such as canoes, trekking.

Day 1 Phuket – Khao Sok (L, D)

Early morning pick up from hotels on Phuket Island then travel north to the mainland. Drive through

Phangnga

province passing small villages and rubber plantations. Arrive at Siam Safari elephant

camp, information will

be given on elephants and their conservation. Elephant trek in the jungle

passing exotic tropical vegetation.

Trekking on elephant back a unique way to get closer to nature.

After the trek, lunch, a variety of Thai dishes

cooked not too spicy will be served. In the afternoon

arrive at the Sok river in Khao Sok. Jungle river canoe trip

in safe inflatable canoes with a person to

provided to paddle the canoe. The natural scenery of Limestone

Mountains and cliffs covered with

rainforest along the river banks is truly spectacular. Gibbon and hornbill

birds live high up in the

mountains; reptiles can some times be seen along the riverbanks. Check into jungle

style resort for

dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Khao Sok (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the resort then depart to explore Khao Sok by Land Rover, there will be a nature trail

walk in the

jungle, visiting some local caves and see some of the local tropical agriculture such as

coffee and rubber

plantations. Lunch will be either packed or at a local village restaurant. In the

afternoon transfer to Cheo Larn

Lake. Take a local boat across the lake to the floating raft house

bungalows. Time to swim and relax and

observe the surrounding nature The accommodation is very

simple national park bungalows (no attached

bathrooms) but the scenery and location here in the

rainforest is superb. Dinner and overnight on the floating

raft house.

Day 3 Khao Sok – Phuket (B,L)

Breakfast at the raft house then take a local boat to explore the lake, see mountains, cliffs, islands

and

rainforest. Sometimes it is possible to see wild life such as leaf monkeys or even horn bill flying

over head,

gibbons may be heard calling from the tree tops. Sightings cannot

be guaranteed and depend on the weather. A packed lunch will

be provided. In the afternoon take a local boat across the lake to

the dam then return transfer to hotels in Phuket.

Please bring:

non slip foot wear, a change of footwear, changes of clothes, swim wear, towel, sun

protection or

a rain coat as the weather can be changeable, torch, personal first aid kit, items of a

personal nature. A bag

or pack is advised, suitcases are not practical.

Departure: Wednesday & Sunday

Day 1: Phuket – Island Hopping (L,D)

This first day is fully guided in self-designed inflatable kayaks. You will be paddled by your guide

through

complex tidal sea caves into lagoons called "Hong's (Thai for "room or chamber"). This allows

you to relax

and enjoy Phang Nga Bay ambiance. You will be picked up from your hotel in Phuket at

8am and transfer to a

motor boat for your island hopping adventure. First Island: Explore caves and

lagoon, Second Island: Traverse

300m cave in a giant lagoon, explore tidal sea caves in the area.

Arrive at camp site at 4pm; training will be provided on the single seat hard shell Sit-On-Top kayaks

and enjoy

Thai seafood dinner on a boat.

Day 2: Explore Surrounding Islands (B,L,D)

On day 2 & 3, you will paddle your own single seat hard shell Sit-On-Top kayak.

Depart for North Koh Yao Noi on escort boat at 7am. Breakfast will be served on board. Upon arrival

at 8am,

paddle to Lao Ga Do Island followed by a motor boat trip to a spectacular large lagoon which

is home to a

mangrove forest and the chance to see many different types of wildlife. Lunch will be

served on board. At

1pm, depart to a small group of islands that contain beautiful sandy beaches and

are home to some

beautiful reefs ideal for snorkeling, swimming and paddling. Get ready to set up

camp at 5.30pm and depart

for a sunset dinner on a boat.

Day 3: Island Hopping – Phuket (B,L)

Depart at 7am to explore Talen area- a maze like exploration through the Mangroves and rock

formations with

the chance to see many monkeys, water monitors, White Bellied Sea Eagles and

Bramany kites. Lunch will be

served on board following a motor boat ride to Koh Hong island for a

relaxing after lunch siesta on the white

sand beach or explore the island which is home to many types

of birds including the great hornbill and white

bellied sea eagle or snorkel with many tropical fish and

a spectacular shallow reef (3m or 10 feet) ideal for

even non experienced snorkellers. Get ready for

your departure back to Ao Por Pier of Phuket. Upon arrival, you

will be transferred to your hotel.
