DESTINATION:          Phang Nga Bay including Ta Khao Bungalow on Khao Yao Noi
SETTING:                   Beachfront bungalows near a quiet village on a beautiful island centered in Phang Nga Bay.
                                Numerous excellent kayaking locations are within one hour by Fast Longtail boat. Our Managing
                                Director’s home village is walking distance and mountain bikes are available.
SEASON:                   Year-round, rainy season is August to October
SKILLS:                      Calm water Sit-On-Top kayaking basic instruction is provided. Non-swimmers are required to
                                wear a PFD.
LODGING:                Built by our Managing Director Sonthorn Sagulsan from natural materials, Ta Khao Bunga lows are
                               first class, with real Western-style mattresses and toilets. Showers are cold water, but this is the
                               Tropics. Each unit has a spacious lanai with top quality Thai-style easy chairs.
ACCESS:                  One hour by Fast longtail boat from Ao Por. Ground transfer is 15 minutes from Phuket International
                              Airport, 45 minutes from Patong

Day 1:

08:00 Depart by longtail from Phuket Pier or Ao Nang Beach

09:00 Arrive at your first spot

11:00 More paddling on nearby islands

12:30 Picnic lunch on an island

13:00 On to the next paddling site

13:30 Paddle some limestone islands in the middle of the bay

17:00 Arrive at Ta Khao pier and transfer to bungalows

19:30 Dinner at Ta Khao restaurant and overnight

Day 2:

07:30 Early breakfast

08:30 Depart with other guests in the fast longtail boat

09:30 Paddle a premier expedition site

12:00 Picnic beach lunch

13:00 Continue to second paddling site

16:00 Return to Ao Nang or Phuket

Tour Code: 1NKSJS Jungle Safari at Khao Sok (2 Days / 1 Night)

Day 1 Phuket – Khao Sok (L,D)

Pick up from hotels in Phuket and travel north off the island over the bridge to the mainland. Drive

through

Phangnga province passing rubber plantations and small villages. Arrive at Siam Safari

elephant camp.

Information will be given on elephants and their conservation. Trek on elephant back

into the jungle to see a

variety of exotic tropical jungle vegetation, experience the real jungle

atmosphere. Lunch is a selection of

Thai dishes cooked not too spicy. After lunch continue journey to

Klong Sok River near Khao Sok National Park.

Upon arrival, begin jungle river canoe trip down the

Sok river in inflatable canoes with a person to paddle for

you, life jackets are provided. Pass

Limestone Mountains covered in jungle vegetation along the banks of the

river. Birds such as

kingfisher, heron, egret and even wild monkeys live in this area. The natural scenery is

some of the

best in Southern Thailand. Check into jungle style resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Khao Sok – Phuket (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the resort then depart to explore the Khao Sok area by Land Rover, there will be a

nature trail

walk in the jungle, visit some local caves and see some of the local tropical agricultural

such as coffee and

rubber plantations. Lunch will be either packed or at a local village restaurant.

Return to the jungle resort

then return transfer to hotels in Phuket arriving in the late afternoon.

Please bring: Non slip foot wear, sports shoes, a change of footwear, changes of clothes, swim wear,

towel,

sun protection or a rain coat as the weather can be changeable, torch, personal first aid kit,

items of a

personal nature. A bag or pack is advised, suit cases are not practical.
