Mae Sa Valley Excursions: Full day

This tour offers a visit to the Nhong Hoi Royal Project, the unspoiled Mong Hilltribe Village, one hour trekking over
mountain and forest trails and a visit to the Fire Observation Tower. A BBQ picnic lunch is for you to enjoy with a
panoramic mountain view at 2000 feet above sea level. Finally the tour ends with a visit to Mae-Sa elephant training
centre for an hour of elephant ride over the forest trails.

9am     Board  the 4x4 WD for  7 kms drive, visiting Nhong  Hoi Royal  Project  Development  Centre.
10am   Visit a Mong Hilltribe Village
11am    One hour trekking over mountain and forest trails to the Fire Observation Tower                 
12.30    B-B-Q Picnic Lunch while enjoying a  panoramic mountain view, at 2,000 feet above sea level.
2pm      Visit Mae-Sa Elephant Training Centre for an hour elephant ride over forest trails.
4pm      Return to Mae-Sa Valley Craft Village.

The tour include one visit to the health center's steam room where a selection of specially chosen natural aromas is
available to help ease away aches and pains in the body. Those who wish may have an hour of traditional Thai
massage that gently kneads away knotted pressure points leaving the body relaxed and calmed.                        

9am             Training the mind through meditation.
12.30pm      Vegetarian lunch at health centre area.

This tour offers two Thai cookery courses—the Northern and Golden Triangle and the North Eastern (Issan) culinary.
Begin the tour with a morning grocery shopping to Mae - Rim fresh produce market following by the cooking classes.
Here you will also be able to gain merit by offering food to passing local monks, a traditional Buddhist rituals. Lunch
is served at Bua Tong restaurant, a D’hote meal.

6.30 A.M.   Merit making by offering food to passing monks at Mae-Rim.
07.00 A.M. Visit Mae-Rim fresh produce market in the morning and do food shopping for today courses.
09.30 A.M.  Introduction to Thai traditional dinner, Essential Equipment,  Basic Techniques and ingredients.
10.00A.M.   Visit our herb garden and vegetable garden to pick up ingredients for today’s courses.

The North-Eastern (Issan) course:

STARTER:          1.  Green Papaya Salad(Som Tam)        
MAIN DISHES :    2.  Spicy Group Meat(Laab)
                          3.  Skewered Marinated Pork(Moo Ping)
DESSERT:           4.  Banana in Coconut Milk(Kruay Bua Chee)

12.30 P.M.  Lunch at the Bua Tong Restaurant.
02.30 P.M.  Cooking course

The Northern and The Golden Triangle courses:
STARTER:            1.  Spicy Sausage(Si Uah)
MAIN DISHES:        2.  Chiang Mai Curry Noodle(Kow Soi)
                            3.  Ong’pork and Chilli Sauce(Nam Prik Ong)
DESSERTS:           4.  Coconut Custard(Sangkaya)

This tour offers a choice of two activity at the Craft Village at Mae - Sa Valley, giving you the opportunity to explore
the different unique way in arts and crafts, the Asian Thai way.

09.30 A.M.  Choice of one activity at the Craft Village for either ceramic painting, or batik dyeing, or parasol and
painting, or Saa paper making, or fragrant candle-making.
12.30 P.M.  Lunch at the Craft Village.
02.30 P.M.  Choice of one activity at the Craft Village for either ceramic painting, or batik dyeing, or parasol and fan
painting, or Saa paper making, or fragrant candle-making.
