Tour Code: FDHNP A day in Southern Kaeng Krachan National Park with lunch 7am to 4.30pm
Home to Thailand’s wild elephants, a Karen village and Pa La-U waterfall, experience first hand knowledge about
nature, wild elephants and the local lifestyles who live in the forest
Depart Hua Hin or Cha-Am at 7am for Huay Sad Yai, Wild Elephant Conservation Center. Upon arrival at
the Observation tower; watch elephants using the salt lick and see them passing on their way to the foraging area
“Hoob-Tao” in Huay Sad Yai. At 10.30am, depart for the Karen Community of Huay Sad Yai, Take a walk of around 1.5
km along the way, greet local villagers. Break for lunch at noon at nearby Huay Sad Yai before leaving for Pa La-U
Waterfall. Upon arrival at the beautiful Pa La-U waterfall, which in Karen dialect, it means “bamboo”, relax or take a
swim by the falls before your returning journey back to Hua Hin or Cha-Am.
Tour Code: FDHBK Nature trip and birds watching at Ban-Krang camp with lunch 7am to 4pm
Depart Hua Hin or Cha-Am at 7am for the Tourist Information Center at Kaeng Krachan National Park where you have
time to take in the display. At 8.30am, leave for Ban-krang Camp, Pranburi basin, the best place for watching the
multitude of colourful butterflies and birds in Kaeng Krachan forest. The tour will continue on to Ban-krang camp at
10am for the waterfall. Our trek to the waterfall follows the meandering Pranburi river. Observe the flora and fauna
along the trail, an ideal area for getting close to nature. Break for lunch at noon in forest. Take time to enjoy the
waterfall and its surrounding area before your returning journey back to Cha-Am.
Tour Code: FDHBP Birds Watching, bats, and the Petchaburi people’s lifestyle with lunch 7 am to 7.00pm
Depart Hua Hin or Cha-Am at 7am to watch hundreds of fresh water and sea birds along the coastline from Cha-am to
Ban-Lam. See local lifestyles at the salt farm and the Jaggery (sugar) farm. You can see how to make charcoal from
mangrove trees, and collect seafood from the shallow waters with the used of special sand sliding shoes. Lunch will
be served en-route. At 6.30pm, witness a spectacular sight - thousands of bats flying from the Khao Yah Nang Cave.
They fly out all together in a huge, long row like a big snake looking for food in the night sky! Back to Cha-am and
arrive around 7.30 p.m.

Deposit of 50% of total fare is required upon booking along with client’s full name (as appears on their passports,
