Thailand is a nation with a long history of over 1000 years. Before Bangkok, Sukothai, Ayuthaya and Thonburi were successively
the capitals of the country. Ayuthaya used to be a flourishing and prosperous capital in the past. It was the capital for 417 years
and during this period, there was a great deal of construction. Among them were numerous palaces and temples. As more than
30 monarchs ruled over Ayuthaya, innumerable events occurred, some of which were historically recorded, while others became
exciting legends still narrated nowadays. The ruined temples and palaces either naturally worn out by time or destroyed by
wars, were no doubt the valuable ancient sites, a perfect reflection of golden and legendary both informative and impressively
delighted. This tour till take you from Bangkok to Ayuthaya, a 2 Days journey through the historical waterways.
Day 1 Bangkok – Bang Pa In - Ayuthaya (D)
Morning board the Shangri La Horizon Cruise and begin cruising upstream along the Chao Phyra river to Bang-
Sai. Disembark to visit the Royal folk Art & Handicrafts Centre. Continue by bus to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace
of the late King Chakri Dynasty, the local Wat Niwet Thasmaprawt, one of Thailand’s most unusual Buddhist
Temple with its the chapel resembling an English Gothic church. Proceed to Ayuthaya, an ancient capital of
Siam Kingdom from 1350-1767. Explore the magnificent ruin temples, palaces and other historical sites.
Transfer to Krung Sri River hotel in Ayuthaya for check-in and in the evening, take a boat trip on a typical
converted rice barge where your sumptuous dinner will be served while sailing along the scenic river.
Day 2 Ayuthaya - Bangkok (B,L,D)
After breakfast, drive to Lopburi, an ancient city dating from the 9th century. You can visit some of the Hindu
and Khemer ruins and the imposing Ramratchaniwet Palace built by Ayuthaya- King Narai during the 1600 as
a summer retreat. Later, continue to drive back to Bangkok.

This tour will take you to the historical town of Kanchanaburi, overnight on large bamboo rafts floating hotel, adventures on the
River Kwai including boat trips to caves, walking tour to Mon village and many more exciting activities allowing you to
experience the historical, natural and friendly side of Thailand
Day 1 Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (L,D)
Morning depart from your hotel by coach to Kanchanaburi via Nakorn Pathom. Upon arrival at Kanchanaburi,
visit the JEATH War Museum and learn more about the events of World War II. The museum is built and
decorated in the style of the Allied PoW living quarters. Then we take a short trip to the War Cemetery where
more than 6,000 where buried.
Following lunch, proceed on a train journey along the original Death Railway across the bridge and passing
over a wooden viaduct section built along the mountain. At the terminal station, transfer to the pier for a
boat ride to the River Kwai Jungle Raft. This unique hotel is built on large bamboo rafts floating on the River
Kwai Noi. It has all the modern facilities except electricity.
In the evening, enjoy a performance by the Mon people (Burmese minority group) or simply enjoy the shining
stars.
Day 2 Kanchanaburi – Bangkok (B,L)
After breakfast in the morning, proceed on a walking tour of the nearby Mon village, there is a village
school, some small plantation and a waterfall. You may want to take this opportunity to take an elephant
ride.
Later take a boat trip down river to the Kaeng Lawa Cave, an impressive limestone cave formed over
thousands of years of precipitation and erosion. Climb up to the cave and walk through the fascinating
formations of stalagmites and stalactites
Return to the Jungle Raft for lunch before departing back to the pier by boat. Your transfer will be waiting for
you at the pier to bring you back to Bangkok.
Tour Code: 1NBSU Explore Sukhothai, World Heritage site (2 Days/1 Night)
A two day tour that brings you to the historical site of Sukhothai. If you do not have a lot of time but want to see the Ancient
Kingdom of Thai, this would be a perfect mini package for you.
Sukhothai was the capital of the first Kingdom of Siam in the 13th and 14th centuries. It has a number of fine monuments,
illustrating the beginnings of Thai architecture. The great civilization which evolved in the Kingdom of Sukhothai absorbed
numerous influences and ancient local traditions; the rapid assimilation of all these elements forged what is known as the
'Sukhothai style'.
Day 1 Bangkok to Sukhothai - by air (L)
Transfer to domestic airport to depart for Sukhothai by air.
Upon arrive Sukhothai, visit Ram Kamhaeng Museum, then to Sukhothai Historical Park, check in at Pailyn
Sukjhothai or similar
Day 2 : Sukthothai to Bangkok - by air (B)
Breakfast is served at hotel, you will have the morning at leisure until your departure transfer to the airport
for flight PG 601 to Bangkok * Flights to other destinations in Thailand available with additional cost.

Tour Code: 1NBHS Thai Living at Samut Songkram Province - Home Stay (2 Days/1 Night)
A great opportunity to experience and witness life along the rivers and canals, get first glimpse of rural Thai lifestyle and lots of
photo opportunities.
Day 1 Bangkok – Wat Don Wai – Ampawa (L,D)
You will be greeted by our local English speaking tour guide in the morning at your hotel lobby. Depart for
Wat Don Wai which located on the banks of Ta Chin River. In order to get there, you will be crossing the
Chao Phraya River. Stroll through the colorful market where fresh vegetables, fruits, plants and orchids are
sold and board a local boat for a one hour trip along the River. Here you will get a first glimpse of rural Thai
lifestyle along the river. The journey continues by road to Ampawa where lunch will be served at a local
restaurant in the village. The village is built along the canals among lush vegetation, take a moment to
explore the neighborhood and enjoy a motorized long-tail boat ride. The boat ride will give you great
opportunities for photo shooting along coconut and tropical fruit plantations, wooden houses built on stilts
along the canals, narrow bridges and footpaths, villagers and food-sellers in rowing boats and children
playing in the river. Upon arrival at your host’s home, you are welcomed with local cold drinks and relax
until dinner is served at the community’s restaurant.
Optional evening boat trip to observe fire flies is available at extra cost.
Tonight, you will overnight at a local Thai family home.
Day 2 Ampawa – Floating Market – Bangkok (B)
Optional: 6am - This morning highlight is a very special Thai Custom to personally offer alms to a Buddhist
monk which in the Thai culture is regarded as remarkable and highly respectable gesture. Alternatively, you
can watch the villagers donate food to the monks, who arrive at their homes by rowing boats. After the
cultural and religious experience, you will enjoy a typical Thai breakfast consists of rice soup, salty eggs,
fish and vegetables. After breakfast, take a one-hour boat trip to Tha Kha Floating Market or Damnoen
Saduak Floating Market. Note: Tha Kha Floating Market is less frequently visited by tourist and is held on
weekend and irregularly during weekdays following the lunar calendar. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is
held daily and is frequently visited by tourists. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant following your
transfer back to Bangkok.
Remarks:
Accommodations at local homes have all basic amenities suited only for those who want to experience true
Thai style living. Some family will vacate one of their family member’s bedrooms to give visitors some
privacy but in most cases thought a mattress, mosquito net and fan in the common sleeping quarters of the
family is arranged. Bathrooms are usually equipped with a basin containing water from the canals which is
poured over the body with a small bucket (cold water). Toilets are traditional squatting toilets.
Please bring: Towel, soap, toothbrush, toilet paper, mosquito repellent, sun protection lotion, cap or hat,
light cotton clothing, slippers and all personal items in a small backpack.

There is no finer way to view the captivating way of life that exists on Thailand's "River of Kings". In a simple one-day river trip
on the Mekhala, you can absorb centuries of Thailand's history and culture.
Option 1: Up River Program (BOAT/BUS) : Daily departure at 14:30 hrs.
Day 1: Bangkok - Mekhala (D)
Transfer to pier for your cruise embarkation. Start cruising up the Chao Phraya River with spectacular views
of the Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn. Just after the sunset, the MEKHALA docks at Wat Kai Tia, a Thai
temple set in a tranquil rural village. An exquisite candlelit dinner of mouth-watering Thai cuisine is served
on the deck. Overnight on board in your air-conditioned cabin.
Day 2: Mekhala—Ayuthaya—Bangkok (B,L)
A delicious breakfast is served on board. Then depart for Bang-Pa-In where your guide will take you to visit
the Summer Palace. Continue by long-tail boat to the ancient capital of Ayuthaya. After lunch at a local
restaurant, visit the idyllic ruins of the once glorious capital destroyed by the Burmese. In the late afternoon
our air-conditioned mini-bus will take you back to your hotel in Bangkok.
Option 2: Down River Program (BUS/BOAT): Daily departure at 08:00 hrs.
Day 1: Bangkok—Ayuthaya—Mekhala (L,D)
Depart from your hotel around 8 a.m. and travel by minibus to Ayuthaya. Upon arrival, visit the archeological
site of the once glorious capital destroyed by the Burmese. Lunch at a local restaurant and then travel to
Bang-Pa-In by long-tail boat to explore the Summer Palace. After this visit, your guide will drop you off, to
board the Mekhala. Cruise down the Chao Phraya River to Wat Kai Tia for a candlelit dinner. Overnight on
board in your air-conditioned cabin.
Day 2: Mekhala—Bangkok (B)
After a delicious breakfast on board, cruise down the river to Bangkok, passing spectacular views of the
Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn. Arrive in the late morning in Bangkok.
Upon arrival in Bangkok, transfer to your hotel
